Attribution and mark usage

What this is

How to cite the specification, and how the OCOM name and mark may be used by published models and documents that reference the vocabulary. The mark identifies a specification, not a product, and it implies no certification, endorsement or conformance claim.

Citing the specification

The specification text is licensed CC BY 4.0. Attribution is satisfied by naming the specification, the version cited and the canonical address:

Each term carries its own stable citation string on its page and in the citation registry; each chapter and comparison resolves through the resolver. A model that uses the vocabulary should cite the terms it uses, not the site as a whole. The concept DOI 10.5281/zenodo.21510450 always resolves to the most recent published version, and CITATION.cff in the repository carries the same record in machine-readable form.

Attribution mark

For published models and documents that cite the OCOM vocabulary. Place it in the footer, kept visually separate from the publisher's own identity. Self-contained and links to https://ocom.uno. Using the mark is optional; the citation above is sufficient attribution.

For a dark footer, change the two text colors to #94a3b8 (label) and #5eead4 (caption), and #fff for OCOM.

Do & don't

Do: keep the teal mark, give it clear space, use it on plain backgrounds.
Don't: recolour, stretch, rotate, add effects, place the mark next to the publisher's own logo, or use it to imply endorsement, certification or conformance.
